Rock-Tock ToppleNot far from the creek bed there is a rock wall, and by the rock wall a fellow keeps a stack of rocks. The creek belongs to everyone, the wall to no one, and the stack of rocks, well, that's for that one fellow to keep.

CandlelightAm I suffering?  I find myself in a purgatory, alone and solemn.  Statues define my presence: stone sculptures to a forgotten past. They call for loyalty, they speak of prophecies, they stand for hope, but they are stone, and no friend was ever that.   
This is a time of ineffable joys; they say they are there but they cannot name them. This is a time of inapt obligations; I cannot owe you this.   
In the Temple of Stone I am safe, but I exist in solitude. In the Temple of Stone I am indestructible.
